Kazakh President congratulates Barack Obama

Astana, 6 November 2008, (Khabar) - President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan
Nazarbayev has sent congratulation telegram to Barack Obama.

It says: "The
relationship between our states started with large-scale cooperation in
nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation of nuclear weapons and have
reached the level of strategic partnership. Our ties have been strengthened
more due to joint efforts on stabilization of Iraq and rehabilitation of
Afghanistan. We are grateful to the USA for assistance in OSCE that will be
led by Kazakhstan in 2010. I am sure Kazakh-American partnership based on
friendship and mutual trust will be developed and strengthened further for
the benefit of our countries. I want to wish You health and success in Your
responsible activity and I wish peace, well-being and flourishing to the
people of United States of America".
