Association: Istanbul’s hotels work normally

Azerbaijan, Baku, June 10 / Trend R. Hafizoglu /
After the protests completed, the hotels began operating normally in Istanbul, the Turkish Tourism Association told Trend on Monday.
The Turkish Tourism Association said that there was a decrease in the number of tourists in different hotels in Istanbul during the protests. But at present, the influx of tourists to these hotels is being fixed.
The association also reported that more than 3 million foreign tourists attended Istanbul for the last five months.
Earlier, it was reported that about 30 per cent of foreign tourists canceled the booking at hotels in Istanbul. It was also reported that the canceled reservations are expected to be increased at hotels located near Taksim Square.
The protests against the reconstruction of the Gezi park on Taksim Square in Istanbul lasted more than 10 days.
The protesters clashed with the police on Kızılay square in Ankara.
