MOH renders advanced medical services and facilities 4 Riyadh
In a foreword of Health Statistical Year Book, Dr Hamad Bin Abdullah
Al-Mane, Minister of Health said the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has
witnessed comprehensive development in all sectors notably in the
health domain.
"It is the duty of the Health Ministry, represented by the
administration of statistics, to shoulder its responsibility as
regards the registration of the health development and provide
statements, information, timetables and statistics on the health
services being extended by the Ministry to the citizens and
residents. These statistics can become a historical reference for
the new generations and constitute a guide for those who are
concerned with the future plans.
If we compare the statistics in the Health Statistical Year Book,
issued by the Health Ministry, with the statistics of the consecutive
years, we can get acquainted with the big strides made in the health
field.
There are now huge human and material capabilities and sophisticated
technology in the field of preventive and clinical medicine.
The book sheds light on the health materials and points out to the
continuous increase in the number of medical and technical
commissions as well as the number of hospitals, and health centers so
as to match the increasing number of population.
The health ministry is keen on making health services reach the
international standards.
May Almighty Allah help us to succeed in performing our mission," Dr
Al-Mane concluded.
