Prince Salman laid foundation stone for Disabled Children`s Center 2 Riyadh

The neighborhood centers are a step that comes in response to an
urgent need confirmed by field studies conducted by DCA, pointing out
that the objectives of the centers is access to places and families
in need and to redouble the efforts of the causes of disability
awareness and avoidance, as well as to promote cooperation with
health centers and schools for the implementation of the integration
of disabled children In general education schools.


Prince Sultan bin Salman reiterated that the Al-Shifa Center which
serve the southern area of Riyadh City is an example of the
interaction of people with the good efforts of the DCA, and expressed
thanks to the initiative of Zaid bin Mohammed al-Jawied for the
donation of land for the project as well as the initiative Engineer
Ali bin Othman Al-Zaid to design the project voluntarily without any
charges, noting that the construction cost was estimated to be SR 14
million.


He highlighted the need to have an endowment facility to support
operating costs, which amount to about SR 3 million annually.
