Prince Salman lays foundation stone for Disabled Children`s Center 3 Riyadh

In an address on the occasion, Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz said that
he is pleased to celebrate the foundation of a new edifices in our
country, hoped that it would contribute to meet the necessary needs
o our children in the south of Riyadh.

"This evening rekindle a precious memory of mine almost 25 years
ago, when I was commissioned by the late Custodian of the Two Holy
Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz to lay down the foundation stone of
the headquarters and the Center of the Disabled Children's
Association in Riyadh. This pioneering institution has succeeded,
with the help of Allah and the support of the government and
Philanthropists to stretch out its free therapeutic, educational
rehabilitation services to many parts of the Kingdom and to the
thousands of our children with disabilities, ''Prince Salman noted.

"We feel proud and pleased for the big role played by charitable
institutions in our country. It is reflected through interdependence
and compassionate stances of this generous country. Moreover, it also
projects the awareness of the citizens and their responsibilities
toward their community," he added.

"Here, I would like to place on record my personal appreciation to
everyone who has helped contribute to the process of this Association
and supported its mission. I hope the Association has completed plans
to cover the rest of neighborhood centers as well as exert their
efforts to reach their services to the rest of the Kingdom, and this
will only be achieved through the combined efforts of everyone, which
we are familiar with."
