US GOVERNMENT FINANCES POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM RESTORATION PROJECT IN GUBA PROVINCE OF AZERBAIJAN
Baku, 11 November,(AzerTAj)On 12 November the project on power supply system restoration will be inaugurated at the Davudoba village of Guba province of Azerbaijan, the Baku office of the US International Agency for Development (USAID) said.
Restoration works has been carried out in the frame of the program of activity of
development of the communities, realized by CHF International, financed by the
USAID.
Thanks to power supply system restoration, more than 700 people of the population of
Davudoba village will be provided with electricity.
It is appropriate to notice that since 1992 USAID has invested in Azerbaijan of $284
million. The projects financed by USAID, are directed on achievement of
macroeconomic stability, increase of expenses for communities, acceleration of
democratic processes, cover education spheres, public health services.
