Iraq Parliament Speaker Due In Iran

Tehran, Sept 14, IRNA – The Speaker of Council of Representatives of Iraq Usama al-Nujayfi is to pay an official visit to Tehran on Saturday. He is making the trip to the Iranian capital at the invitation of his Iranian counterpart Ali Larijani. During his 3-day stay in Iran, Al-Nujaifi is expected to meet and confer with Larijani and a number of other high-ranking Iranian officials on expansion of bilateral ties and regional issues, particularly escalating situation in Syria./end
