Tourism Indonesia Mart To Be Held In Padang

Jakarta, Sept 17 (Antara) - The Indonesian Tourism Society (MPI) will organise the 19th Tourism Indonesia Mart and Expo (TIME) in Padang, West Sumatra, from October 18 to 21, 2013. TIME 2013 will help promote West Sumatra as an international tourist destination and attract investors to develop infrastructure and facilities such as hotels in the province, said Deputy Minister for Tourism and Creative Economy Sapta Nirwandar on Tuesday. The event will also promote tourist attractions in Indonesia. This event is part of a government`s programme called "Wonderful Indonesia." TIME is a business-to-business forum that connects players in the tourism industry in Indonesia and abroad. The event is listed on the international travel mart calendar, along with other events such as ITB Berlin, WTM London, Arabian Travel Mart (ATM), and PATA Travel Mart.
