UAE condemns terror blast in Kenya

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs yesterday condemned the criminal, terror explosion at a shopping centre in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, which left 59 people dead and dozens of innocent Kenyans and foreigners injured. The Ministry in a statement yesterday said ''The UAE government and people support Kenya in its efforts to confront this cowardly criminal act and call the international community to stand firmly to combat terrorism so as to eradicate it whatever its sources and motives.'' The ministry expressed heart-felt condolence to families of the victims of this heinous act and wished speedy recovery to those wounded. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
