Emergency teams begin unloading diesel from capsized vessel off Umm al-Qaiwain

Umm al Qaiwain: The local emergency, crisis and disaster management team are working to unload a vessel carrying a shipment of diesel which capsized off Umm al-Qaiwain on Thursday. The team members held a meeting earlier to discuss the action taken and measures to prevent similar accidents in the future. They were reassured that all the vessel's crew were safely brought ashore. According to the team members, the accident had very little environmental impact. The owner of the vessel agreed to remove the vessel in three days. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
