Mission of US Republican Institute arrives in Georgia to observe presidential election

Georgia, Tbilisi, October 24/Trend N.Kirtzkhalia/ Observers for the presidential election continue to arrive in Georgia. The observers of the U.S Republican Institute (IRI) arrived in Georgia on Thursday morning. The head of the delegation Richard Williamson told journalists at the Tbilisi airport that IRI actively cooperates with Georgia after the "Rose Revolution" in 2003. "This election should be fair, free and honest and we are here to be convinced of this," he stressed. The delegation of the institute comprising 10 people will observe the presidential election of October 27 and it will present its conclusion at the briefing on October 28.
