Mohamed bin Zayed receives Egyptian Prime Minister

Abuj Dhabi: His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Saturday at the Emirates Palace, received Dr Hazem al-Beblawi, Prime Minister of Egypt, who is on a current visit to the UAE. Welcoming al-Beblawi and his delegation to the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed expressed his pleasure at the visit as it is aimed at bolstering the bilateral relations between the UAE and Egypt. His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and al-Beblawi re-affirmed the importance of promoting the solid fraternal relations between their two countries in all spheres in the service of their common interests. At the meeting, which was attended by H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor and Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council of Abu Dhabi, and H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, the two sides discussed the different aspects of cooperation between the UAE and Egypt, and ways of strengthening and supporting them in all spheres in fulfilment of the aspirations of the two peoples. They also discussed the importance of making efforts to diversify and promote their bilateral partnerships in order to serve all economic, development and investment sectors. The two sides also discussed the developments in Egypt and the efforts of the Egyptian government to boost development, and exchanged views on a number of matters of common interest. Reiterating to the Egyptian delegation the UAE's support to the Egyptian people at this crucial time in the history of Egypt, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan noted that the UAE's stance is a continuation of the principle of brotherliness and love at all stages, as well as the stances towards Egypt ever since the special and unique relations with Egypt were established by the founding father of the UAE, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. His Highness the Crown Prince also affirmed that President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan is interested in bolstering and continuously developing this bilateral cooperation towards the fulfilment of the interests of the two countries and their peoples in all spheres. Praising the Egyptian government for its efforts to restore security and stability to the society in Egypt and back the economic and social development, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed expressed his confidence in the ability of the Egyptian people to overcome the challenges and barriers, based on their honourable history, and to drive the process of building and development towards fulfilling the aspirations and hopes of Egyptians for a better future of progress and dignified life. For his part, Egyptian Prime Minister, Hazem al-Beblawi, expressed his thanks and appreciation for the UAE for standing for the Egyptian people and its causes. He expressed appreciation of the U.A.E's assistance to Egypt through initiatives and diverse contributions reflecting the unique fraternal relationship between the two countries and their peoples.
