Israel's Foreign Ministry will hold unique workshop in Tbilisi

Israel's Foreign Ministry will hold a unique inter-ministerial workshop in Tbilisi on October 30-31.
Head of the Department for the Central Europe and Eurasia Anna Azari, Israeli ambassadors in Tbilisi, Baku, Astana and Ashgabat, diplomats and experts on the South Caucasus and Central Asia - around 20 people will attend the event.
The purpose of the event is to allow diplomats to get acquainted with the Caspian region, as well as with the countries bordering with Iran and China.
The ambassadors will deliver speech.
According to some senior diplomats, the representatives of the Foreign Ministry are not well familiar with Central Asia and the South Caucasus yet.
"People are aware that several countries are bordering with China and that we buy oil and gas," one of the workshop participants told IzRus portal. "That is why, diplomats working in India, the European Union, Russia, the U.S. and several others were also invited for the workshop.
Deputy Foreign Minister Ze'ev Elkin will be one of the workshop participants. He will arrive in Tbilisi by the end of the event and will address the participants. Afterwards, he will hold several meetings with the Georgian leadership.
