Jafarov / Iran and Turkey are two big and powerful countries, which may affect the processes in the region, Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif told journalists in Istanbul, Iran's news agency İRNA reported. According to Zarif, he will meet with Turkish President Abdullah Gul, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu during his two-day visit to Turkey. "While cooperating and exchanging the opinions, Turkey and Iran can play a significant role in eliminating the tension in the region and contributing to peace and prosperity," Zarif added.
