Newspaper: Turkey to tighten fighting against consumption of smuggled fuel

Azerbaijan, Baku, November 4/Trend, R.Hafizoglu/ Turkey will tighten the fighting against the consumption of smuggled fuel, Zaman newspaper reported. According to the newspaper, within the tightening of measures against the use of smuggled fuel, Energy Market Regulatory Agency (EPDK) of Turkey banned the activity of around 145 filling stations for seven months. The newspaper also reported that some 145 filling stations were fined to totally 125 million lira. The official exchange rate on November 4 is 2.0063 TRY/USD. Do you have any feedback?
