Azerbaijani president receives OIC Secretary General

Baku, Azerbaijan, Nov. 25 Trend: Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has today received Secretary General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu. The OIC Secretary General congratulated President Ilham Aliyev on his re-election. Mr Ihsanoglu said the OIC observer mission praised the Azerbaijani presidential election as free, transparent and democratic. The OIC Secretary General stressed Azerbaijan`s role as an active member of OIC, hailing the country`s support for the organization's projects. The sides expressed confidence that Azerbaijan-OIC cooperation would further enhance.
