Petrol and diesel fuel prices increased in Azerbaijan

Baku, Azerbaijan, Dec.3 By Ilaha Khalilova - Trend: The retail price on petrol, diesel fuel and the wholesale price on some oil products increased in accordance with the Tariff Council's decision as of December 3, 2013. Moreover, the tariff for the natural gas sale to the energy, aluminum, chemical and steel enterprises increased in accordance with this decision. The retail price on Aİ- 95 petrol was set at 0.8 manat per liter and retail price on Aİ- 92 and Aİ- 80 petrol - 0.7 manat per liter, the Tariff Council said on Tuesday. The retail price on one liter of diesel fuel was set at 0.6 manat. The tariff for the sale of natural gas to the enterprises increased up to 80 manat per 1,000 cubic meters. So far, the cost of one liter of Aİ- 95 petrol was 0.6 manat, Aİ- 92 and Aİ- 80 - 0.55 manat, and diesel fuel - 0.45 manat. The tariff for sale of 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas to the chemical, steel and energy enterprises was 42 manat. The official exchange rate is 0.7844 AZN/USD on Dec. 3.
