Saudi medical achievement in removal of cancerous tumors

Riyadh, November 18, SPA--A Saudi medical team of specialist surgeons
at Prince Sultan Center for Blood and Tumors in King Fahd Medical
City has succeeded in removing more than10 kilograms of cancerous
tumors from the abdomen of a Saudi patient.

The City's Executive Director General expressed his pleasure
over this medical achievement, pointing out that similar cases have
been sent for treatment at specific specialized centers abroad.
The head of the surgical team Dr. Yosef Al-Sihaibani described the
success of the surgery as a medical accomplishment recorded for the
Kingdom of being the first of its kind in the Middle East.
