3rd Day of “Our Heart with the People of Syria" Campaign collects Dh85 million

Abu Dhabi: The "Our Hearts with the Syrians Campaign", a humanitarian initiative called for by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to supporting Syrian refugees who are facing the severe cold wave in Syria's neighbouring countries, has collected Dh 85 million in its third day so far. The fund-raising telethon is jointly sponsored by the Red Crescent Authority (RCA) and the National Media Council (NMC). The drive will contribute to securing the necessary needs in order to protect them from cold weather that hit the region recently and led to a severe shortage of necessary humanitarian equipment in addition to a deterioration of their living conditions. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
