WORLD VISION PROVIDES MEDICINES TO KEEROM HEALTH SERVICE
Jayapura, Nov. 19 (ANTARA) - World Vision through its local partner Wahana Visi Indonesia (WVI) has provided free medicines and medical equipments to the health service in Keerom District, Papua Province, to help local inhabitants.
"This assistance is aimed at supporting the health services for the people in Keerom," WVI's Area Development Program Manager Radika Pinto said here on Wednesday.
World Vision, a Christian relief, provides more than 25 types of medicines and medical equipment fully loaded in a truck.
The medicines and equipment donated by Canadians would be distributed to local community health centers (Puskesmas) and integrated health post (Posyandu) especially in Waris and Arso Timur sub districts.
