ADNOC Distribution reduces prices of refilling LPG cylinders in service stations across northern regions

Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi National Oil Company for Distribution (ADNOC Distribution) announced that it was reducing prices for refilling liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders at its service stations in the emirates of Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah and Umm Al Qaiwain with effect from 10th January, 2014.
ADNOC Distribution reduced the price of refillable LPG cylinders of 25 lbs capacity to Dh54, down Dh7 from the previous marked retail price of Dh61. The company has also reduced the price of refilling the 50 lbs capacity LPG cylinder that is available only at Riffa station in Dibba-Fujairah to Dh105, a reduction of Dh17 from the earlier marked price of Dh122.
Khalid Hadi, Vice-President of Marketing and Corporate Communications, ADNOC Distribution, said: "The reduced prices announced by ADNOC Distribution yesterday underline our commitment to customers who regularly purchase LPG cylinders in the emirates of Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Qaiwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah. The price reduction came in line with the lower prices of global gas production, where prices are subject to change according to the change of global gas prices." Hadi pointed out that the new pricing of filling LPG cylinders at all ADNOC Distribution stations in Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah and Umm Al Qaiwain has been implemented and will be monitored to reflect changes in the prices of LPG in global markets.
He added: "ADNOC Distribution is seeking to develop its services and capacities in line with the growing demand for LPG cylinders, and aims to make life more convenient for our customers by passing on reduced prices to them." ADNOC Distribution currently provides more than 3,000 subsidised 25 lbs gas cylinders daily at its service stations in Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Qaiwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah. Moreover, holders of Rahal E-Gas cards in these emirates are authorised to get subsidised gas cylinders. Rahal E-Gas is issued free of cost by the company at its offices in Sharjah or at select ADNOC service stations across the UAE. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
