Minister of Islamic Affairs makes statement

Sanaa, November 21, SPA -- Minister of Islamic Affairs, Endowments,
Call and Guidance of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Sheikh Saleh bin
Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh expressed pleasure to have attended the
opening of Alsaleh Mosque and Holy Quran and Islamic Studies College
in Sanaa earlier today.

In a statement, he congratulated President Ali Abdullah Saleh of
Yemen and the Yemeni people on this giant and distinguished
achievement which will serve Islam and Muslims.

He said a memorandum of understanding was singed by the Saudi
Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance and the
Yemeni Ministry of Endowments and Guidance dealing with training of
callers and Imams.
