Prince Turki bin Talal receives UN General Assembly President
Washington, November 22, SPA -- Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz
received last night at his residence in New York UN General Assembly
President Miguel D’Escoto.
During the meeting, D’Escoto praised the dialogue between the
followers of religions in which the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques
participated last week at United Nations Headquarters in New York.
He quoted parts of the speech of the Custodian of the Two Holy
Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz during his closing remarks of
the high-level meeting, which lasted two days.
The Queen Silvia of Sweden, as founder and president of Mentor
will hand over a prize to Prince Turki who is the chairman of the
board of trustee of Mentor Arabia for his efforts associated with
Mentor Arabia.
Queen Silvia expressed her happiness over the works of Prince
Turki bin Talal for the Mentor. She also supported its works.
The Mentor Foundation focuses on the prevention of drug misuse
in its efforts to promote the health and well-being of children and
young people and to reduce damage to their lives.
It operates in a number of regions around the World: Mentor Arabia ,
Mentor Colombia , Mentor Germany, Mentor Lithuania , Mentor Sweden ,
Mentor UK and Mentor USA
