Private sector job is strategic choice: Mansour bin Zayed

Abu Dhabi (WAM): H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs has said that UAE encourages and supports distinguished citizens and takes benefit of their academic and innovative projects in the country and abroad. Sheikh Mansour made these remarks yesterday while meeting with 100 outstanding male and female students on the side-lines of the 2nd Government Summit, which concluded yesterday in Dubai. The students were invited out of his keenness on supporting citizens towards better future, in addition to involving future leaders in the national programmes. Hamad bin Abdul Rahman Al Midfa, Secretary General of the Federal Supreme Council Affairs at the Ministry of Presidential Affairs, Dr. Ali Rashid Al Noaimi, Vice Chancellor of UAE University and other senior officials were present. Sheikh Mansour discussed with students a number of issues concerning to youth affairs, saying the UAE led by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has invested in the human resources by adoption of best educational curricula and establishing partnerships with many international and reputed universities. He also directed student to enrol on the specialties that are needed in the labour market and also required in the developmental march of the UAE as well as serving the homeland in general. He encouraged the students to take up jobs in the private sector immediately after completing graduation, since work in this sector is also a service for the country. – Emirates News Agency, WAM –
