RCA provides Dh2.2m for Palestinians

RAMALLAH: The Red Crescent Authority (RCA) of UAE has provided medical assistance worth over Dhs2.2m to the Palestinian thalassemia patients in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. The Thalassemia Patients’ Friends Society (TPFS) in the West Bank City of Al-Beerah has received the first shipment of medicines under the project. Dr Bashar Al Karmi, head of the TPFS expressed his thanks and appreciation to the RCA for funding the project, stressing the shipment would fulfil a big part of the patients’ needs of Thalassemia medicines. – Emirates News Agency, WAM – Read more:
