Khalifa Foundation distributes aid to 12,500 Syrian refugees in Lebanon

Beirut (WAM): The Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation in cooperation with the U.A.E. Embassy in Lebanon has launched a new relief campaign for the displaced Syrian refugees. A team from the Foundation has distributed assistance which includes dates, blankets and children's winter clothes among 500 families, comprising 12500 people in the poorest areas in Beqaa Valley. The beneficiaries expressed their thanks and appreciation to the U.A.E.'s leadership, government and people, lauding the Khalifa Foundation for supporting and alleviating the sufferings of the Syrian refugees. They wished permanent health for President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
