Earthquake jolts in Masalli and Caspian Sea

Baku, Azerbaijan, March 15 Trend: An earthquake measuring 4.2 occurred at 22 kilometers to the north-west of Lankaran at 06:21 (local time) on March 15, the Republican Seismology Center of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) told Trend. Tremors were recorded at a depth of 24 km in Masalli region. The tremors of 3 - 4 points were felt in nearby settlements. Also, an earthquake with magnitude of 4 points occurred at 42 kilometers to the northeast of Guba at 04:59 (local time) on the same day. Tremors have been recorded at a depth of 3 km in the sea.
