UAE Parliamentary Division takes part in IPU meetings in Geneva

Geneva: The UAE Parliamentary Division is participating in the meetings of the 130th Assembly and the 194th session of the Inter-Parliamentary Union Governing Council along with the Women Parliamentarians meeting, which started yesterday and run until 20th of March in Geneva. Mohammed Ahmed Al Murr, Speaker of Federal National Council, FNC, and Head of the Division, arrived in Geneva yesterday evening leading a delegation comprised of Rashid Al Shreiqi, Ali Issa al-Naimi, Ahmed Obaid Al Mansoori and Sultan Saif Al Samahi. Al Murr and the accompanying delegation were received by Obaid Salem Al Zaabi, Permanent Representative of the United Arab Emirates to the United Nations in Geneva. Al Murr highlighted the keenness of the Parliamentary Division to participate in all meetings and activities organised by regional and international parliamentary institutions including the Inter-Parliamentary Union. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
