UAE takes part in Nuclear Security Summit 2014 in The Hague, Netherlands

The Hague: The UAE is taking part in the Nuclear Security Summit 2014, which kicked off yesterday in The Hague, Netherlands. The summit sheds light on international efforts to prevent nuclear terrorism and secure materials that could be used to build a nuclear weapon. It focuses on issues pertaining to nuclear security in different countries. The UAE has met a number of its pledges made at the Washington and Seoul summits, held respectively in 2010 and 2012, regarding nuclear security measures enshrined in all international conventions. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
