Mohamed bin Zayed meets David Cameron

The Hague: His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces yesterday met with David Cameron, British Prime Minister, on the sidelines of the Nuclear Security Summit 2014 which opened here on Monday. During the meeting, the two sides discussed the friendly relations and cooperation between UAE and the UK as well as ways of further bolstering and promoting them in the service of the two countries and their peoples. The discussions took in the nuclear security summit and the importance of furthering cooperation and confidence between the world's states in order to reduce the proliferation of nuclear weapons. At the meeting which was attended by H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, a number of regional and international issues and current developments were discussed. The two sides emphasised the need for all parties to adopt dialogue, understanding and diplomatic efforts as the means for solving pending issues, crises and instability in several regions around the world. Present at the meeting were also Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Affairs Authority (EAA), Yousef Al Otaiba, Ambassador of UAE to U.S.A., and Mohammed Mubarak Al Mazrouie, Undersecretary of the Court of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince. – Emirates News Agency,
