Lubna Al Qasimi affirms UAE's keenness on promoting its cooperation with all countries of the world

Sheikha Lubna bint Khalid Al Qasimi, Minister of Development and International Co-operation, and President of Zayed University, has affirmed the UAE's keenness on promoting its cooperation with all countries of the world and building an outstanding partnership relations with various sisterly countries. Sheikh Lubna noted the distinguished relations between the UAE and the Kingdom of Norway when she received the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs in Norway, Morten Hoglund, and the delegation accompanying him. She expressed the hope that these relations between the two countries would witness further cooperation and exchange of common interests. Sheikh Lubna stressed that the relations between the two countries were moving in a positive constant, especially at the level of supporting the efforts of the international development and delivery of humanitarian assistance to the victims of humanitarian crises and disasters in all parts of the world, especially the joint and constrictive cooperation on the level of the humanitarian crisis in Syria. During the meeting, Sheikh Lubna reviewed the efforts of the UAE in terms of providing support to the efforts of international community under the guidance of its wise leadership to achieve stability and international development and the generous support of the UAE through its humanitarian institutions, which enable it to occupy the first position at the level of the world most donor for foreign aid. For his part, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Norway expressed appreciation of his country and its aspiration to strengthen its cooperation with the UAE in all spheres, commending the role played by the UAE in the field of international humanitarian response, particularly in response to the Syrian crisis.
