Partners expenditures on energy projects in Azerbaijan exceeds $ 500 million in Q1

Baku, Azerbaijan, May 18 By Emil Ismayilov - Trend: The expenditure for fulfilling the contracts and orders within the projects operated by BP in Azerbaijan totalled $558 million in Q1, 2014, compared to $503 million in January-March in 2013, according to the BP's activity report in Q1, 2014. The expenditure for fulfilling the contracts of small- and medium-sized enterprises ( including individuals, a total of 159) reached $215 million, state-owned companies (24) - $37 million, joint ventures with local partners (12 JV) - $136 million, according to the report. The expenditures of foreign contractors in the country amounted to $170 million. In January- March, some $0.39 million was spent on social responsibility projects. In particular, costs amounted to $0.07 million within the offshore Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli project, $0.06 million at Shah Deniz, and $0.15 million under the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan and Baku-Tbilisi- Erzurum pipelines.
