Katara GM Discusses Cooperation with German Embassy

Doha, June 08 (QNA) - Katara General Manager Khalid Al Sulaiti met Sunday with HE Spanish Ambassador to Qatar Carmen de la Penia. The Ambassador expressed the Spanish embassy's keenness on cultural exchange with Katara by holding a range of events. The Ambassador also expressed her appreciation to the current level of cooperation. She expressed her interest in holding joint exhibitions in the future, highlighting a new exhibition in Katara on Islamic architecture in Spain. For his part, Al Sulaiti said he was pleased with the outcomes of his meeting with the Ambassador, revealing that they have agreed to hold several other meetings in the future to discuss cultural cooperation between Katara and the embassy. Ambassador De la Penia gifted General Manager of Katara a number of books on Islamic architecture in Spain, which also highlights the Arab influence on a number of Spanish city. (QNA)
