Prince Miteb speaks on importance of enhanced services for

Riyadh, November 30, SPA-- Prince Miteb bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs, has issued his directives to
implement the municipal plans approved for this year's Hajj season.
Prince Miteb, who is also the Head of the commission of development
of Makkah, Madinah and the Holy Places, underlined the importance of
doubling efforts for providing the pilgrims with the best possible
services.


Mina region witnessed gigantic projects including an integrated
network of roads, tunnels and flyovers in addition to networks of
water and sewage.


The municipality of Makkah has been working around the clock.

The municipality is supervising the slaughter houses in Makkah
region and the Holy Places.


Meanwhile, the municipality is coordinating with other concerned
authorities to ensuring the safety of the traffic movement and
undertaking the inspection of the places of the pilgrims.


It is worth mentioning that the Hajj general plan started on
Tuesday, Nov 18, 2008.
