MWL Chief receives Algerian Delegation

Makkah, Nov 30, SPA -- Dr Abdullah al-Turki, the secretary general of
the Muslim World League, received here today a delegation of Muslim
scholars society in Algeria, led by Sheikh bin Yunis bin Abi Saad
Ayat Salim.


Speaking on the occasion, Dr al-Turki reiterated the keenness of the
MWL on cementing cooperation with the Muslims scholars' society in
Algeria.


On his part, the head of the delegation said the Muslim scholar's
society has been carrying out Islamic programs throughout Algeria.
These programs include organization of conferences and the awareness
campaigns for the youth about the moderation of Islam.


The society has 45 offices throughout Algeria, he said.


Ayat Salim lauded the efforts being exerted by the MWL and its role
in the service of the Muslim nation.


He also hailed the Kingdom's role in the service of the pilgrims.
