Governor of Makkah inspects holy sites

Makkah, December 01, SPA-- Prince Khalid Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz, the
Governor of Makkah region and Chairman of Hajj Central Committee made
an inspection tour of the holy sites here today.


The Governor was accompanied by the Committee's members, security
leaders and heads of government sectors concerned with providing
services for pilgrims.


The tour included the Developmental Project of Jamarat
(Pebbles-throwing) Bridge, the operation room of the civil defense in
Makkah and the holy Mount of Arafat.


Prince Khalid Al-Faisal commended the projects on which the
government has generously spent to provide the best services for
pilgrims.


Later, the Governor chaired a meeting of Hajj Central Committee and
discussed the latest planned preparations and arrangements for this
year's Hajj season.
