Third Batch of King`s Guest-pilgrims arrive in Makkah

Makkah, December 02, SPA -- A group of pilgrims representing the
third batch of the guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques
King Abdulaziz bin Abdulaziz arrived here on Monday.

These pilgrims, amounting to 203, included pilgrims from Egypt,
Ivory Coast, Poland, Serbia, Bosnian-Herzegovina, Latvia and
Lithuania.

They were welcomed by assistant undersecretary of the ministry of
Islamic affairs, endowments, call and guidance for Islamic affairs Dr
Abdullah al-Liheidan.


He noted that the number of the guests of the Custodian of the Two
Holy Mosques this year's Hajj season amounts to 1000; 600 of them
from central, north and east Europe, 120 from west Europe, 61 from
the Arab countries and 200 pilgrims from Asia and Australia.


In a statement to SPA, Dr al-Liheidan said the pilgrims hosted by
the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques since 1417 AH, amounted to
12,000 from different continents of the world.
