MINISTER OF ROAD VISITS RUSSIA

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolia’s Minister of Road and Transportation A.Gansukh paid a working visit to the Russian Federation on August 6-9 by invitation of the Russian Minister of Transportation M.Yu.Sokolov. The Ministers discussed the bilateral cooperation in the transportation sector and shared views on the railway transit transport, technical renovation of the Ulaanbaatar Railway Joint Venture, collaboration in civil aviation, cooperation between the Mongolian Airlines (MIAT) and the Aeroflot. They also considered ways of expanding the cooperation and reached a mutual understanding in some issues. Mr Gansukh also legged the Air Transportation Agency of Russia, the Civil Aviation University at the Moscow State University, and the “Aero Soyuz” helicopter factory.
