PALMALI GETS SECOND AFRAMAX TANKER
Baku, 03 December,(AzerTAj)Palmali Shipping Group of Companies has acquired a second Aframax class high-tonnage oil tanker as part of expansion of its fleet.
The deadweight of the Japan-made vessel, named Azerbaijan, is 105,000 metric tons.
The tanker is 237.74 meters in length, and 42 meters in width. The vessel will make
its first trip from Singapore.
Recently, Palmali Shipping has been granted a $183m-loan by German banks HSH
Nordbank and DVB to purchase three high-tonnage oil tankers.
The company acquired its first Aframax tanker, named Baku, last month.
