SPEAKER MEETS AMBASSADOR OF INDIA

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Chairman of the State Great Khural (parliament) Z.Enkhbold Thursday received Mr Somnath Ghosh, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Mongolia. The Speaker said he is glad to meet with the recently appointed Ambassador of India and stressed that the Mongolia-India relations and cooperation have been boosting at a high level, and that a development of ties and collaboration with Asia-Pacific countries is one of the priorities of Mongolia's foreign policy. He also said India is a main partner of Mongolia in the region. Mongolia always wants to expand the cooperation with India in all sectors, the Speaker went on and expressed a satisfaction with a successful development of the comprehensive partnership relations in all spheres based on interests of the two countries’ peoples and common principles of the international ties. In response, Mr Ghosh thanked the Speaker for the audience and said he is happy with the expansion of the bilateral relations and cooperation. Then he invited the Speaker and D.Demberel MP and head of the Mongolia-India inter-parliamentary group, and others to the celebration of the Independence Day of India (August 14). Ending the meeting, the Speaker wished the Ambassador many successes.
