MONGOLIA-CHINA INTERGOV’L DRAFT PROTOCOL DISCUSSED

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At its regular meeting on Thursday, the cabinet backed a draft of Mongolia-China intergovernmental protocol on actions of agreements and treaties established between the two countries in 1949-2012. It was decided that the PM is to issue an order on authorizing a relevant official to sign this protocol. The government considers that making clear the way these contracts have been effective will significantly contribute from the legal side to a non-stop sustainable development of the bilateral strategic partnership. Talks about a need to put in order all these agreements started in 2006. Since then, each side made a list of all documents kept in archives, gathered suggestions from related ministries and organizations, made a general list, then the sides exchanged the lists to synchronize them. This protocol is supposed to be inked during the state visit of China’s President to Mongolia this month.
