VISIT OF CANADA’S FM SUMMARIZED

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At the cabinet meeting on Wednesday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs L.Bold presented a summary of an official visit his Canadian counterpart paid to Mongolia this July 23-25. Mr John Baird was here at the invitation of Mr Bold. The two FMs held tet-a-tet meeting and then official talks to exchange views on the Mongolia-Canada relations and cooperation in regional and international arenas. They also reached concrete agreements on increasing a volume of the bilateral relations and on activating the ties and cooperation in the mining, defense, legal reforms, agriculture, health, education and construction spheres. Mr Baird was also received by the President Ts.Elbegdorj and the Vice Speaker of parliament M.Enkhbold.
