MONGOLIA WELCOMES CHINESE PRESIDENT XI JINPING

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The President of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) Mr Xi Jinping, his spouse Ms Peng Liyuan, and accompanying him officials landed on the “Chingis Khaan” international airport at 11.20 am on Thursday to pay the state visit. The dignitaries were welcomed by the Guard of honor and Mr N.Altankhuyag, the Prime Minister, and other officials. As the visit programme says, the President of Mongolia Mr Ts.Elbegdorj and his spouse Ms Kh.Bolormaa will welcome the guests on the Square of Chingis Khaan at 4 pm the same day. After this the two Presidents will hold official talks. On the second day, the State Great Khural (parliament) will convene its solemn meeting in honor of Mr Xi, after which the latter will receive the Speaker Z.Enkhbold and the Prime Minister N.Altankhuyag. The visit of China's President has coincided with the 65th anniversary of the bilateral diplomatic relations and the 20th anniversary of the Treaty on Friendly Relations and Cooperation.
