Civil Defense warns of squatting in pedestrian tunnels

Mina, December 04, SPA -- The General Directorate of Civil Defense
warned pilgrims of squatting in the pedestrian tunnels because that
might hinder the movement of pilgrims into the tunnel which in turn
leads to accidents.

The Directorate General of Civil Defense urged pilgrims to follow the
safety instructions posted at all ways and tunnels in Makkah and the
holy sites. It also urged pilgrims not to throw waste in pedestrian
tunnels.
