Arab Gulf countries considering unified prices for petroleum products

Abu Dhabi (WAM): The six member states of the Cooperation Council of the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) have considered the possibility of unifying their prices of petroleum products at a recent meeting in Kuwait, according to Suhail bin Mohammed Faraj Faris Al Mazrouei, U.A.E. Minister of Energy. The GCC petroleum and energy ministers discussed the unification of petroleum products at the 33rd meeting of the GCC Petroleum Cooperation Committee last Thursday in Kuwait, Al Mazrouie who led the U.A.E. delegation to the meeting said in a statement yesterday. Minister Al Mazrouie emphasised that the six GCC states will continue their cooperation on petroleum and energy.
