Pilgrims are in good health condition, says Ministry of Health

Mina, Makkah, December 06, SPA --The Ministry of Health announced
here last night that the health condition of the pilgrims was good,
and no epidemic cases were reported among them.
General Supervisor of Health Information and Public Relations and
Health Ministry's spokesman Dr. Khalid Margalani urged the pilgrims
to report to the nearest health facility when they face health
problems so as to receive the appropriate medical treatment.
The Ministry of Health has made the required arrangements at the
hospitals of Mina for extending the best possible services the guests
of God, he noted.
There are four hospitals with the capacity of 582 beds, and the
number of beds can be increased by 160, in addition to 28 health
centers in Mina, he said noting that all medical specializations are
available at these hospitals and health centers.
Moreover, Dr Margalani said, the health ministry has prepared plans
for medical evacuation as well as for treating infectious and
epidemic cases.
