As many as 300 pressmen engage in Hajj Coverage

ARAFAT, Saudi Arabia, December 07, SPA -- As many as 300 pressmen
from various parts of the world are participating in the coverage of
the Hajj season this year.


They represent the Arab, Islamic and international television
channels, new agencies, newspapers and broadcasting stations.


The information centers prepared by the ministry of culture and
information at Arafat and Mina witnessed tireless movements by the
pressmen who compete each other in the coverage of the movements of
the pilgrims.


The TV channels participating in the coverage of the Hajj season
this year include CNN; THE BBC; Reuters; the Associated Press; AFP
(French Press Agency); Al-Jazeerah Channel; Al-Jazeera Net; the
Turkish 'DOST' Channel; the Financial Times; The Guardian; The
Swedish Deveniska Newspaper; The Danish Poltiken Newspaper; the Dutch
NOS Channel; the Eurovision; the Turkish Channel D; The Kazakhstan
Islamic Arna Channel; The Kirkizi Islamic Manas Channel; NDTV; UPI;
Al-Hoda Channel; the South African Islamic Channel CII, and the South
African al-Mansard Islamic Broadcasting Station in addition to the
European Photographs Agency (EPA); Russian Today Channel; The
Malaysian Astro Channel; The Turkish Chihan Agency; Polaris
