UAE FNC calls for international parliamentary declaration on boosting international peace, security

GENEVA: Ali Jassim, rapporteur of third permanent committee for democracy and human rights, member of U.A.E. Parliamentary Division at the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Group, has called for issuance of the international parliamentary declaration to boost the international peace and security through the respect of sovereign principles, non-interference in internal affairs of other countries and protection of human rights. A committee will be set up at the IPU to prepare the declaration. The declaration would contribute to removal of international complications and avoid clash in regard to national sovereign concepts.
