His trip is sponsored by the Ministry of Environment and Green development. On Monday, the Minister, Mrs S.Oyun received Mr Purevdagva and handed over the flag and the travel expenses.
Mongolia has fully provided its preparation for joining the International Antarctic Treaty and the Great Khural /parliament/ is expected to ratify it soon. By participating in the Antarctic researches, Mongolia will have an access to territories and natural resources of this continent. The ratification of the treaty will also facilitate Mongolia with broad opportunities to cooperate in the related projects and programs.
