Azerbaijan, UAE discuss transport cooperation

Baku, November 18, AzerTAc Azerbaijan`s Minister of Transport Ziya Mammadov has met a delegation led by Minister of Economy of the United Arab Emirates, co-chair of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Trade and Technical Cooperation Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansoori. Mr. Mammadov highlighted reforms carried out in the road-transport complex, as well as large-scale regional projects. The Minister said transport was one of the priority spheres of Azerbaijan`s economy, and spoke of the relations between Azerbaijan and the UAE. Mammadov praised the development of cooperation between the two countries. They also exchanged views on cooperation opportunities between the two countries in the field of transport.
